Bodega Bay wedding photographer
Adrian Tamblin of Adrian Tamblin Photography was concerned as he drove Rahi and Stephanie to the pristine area of Salmon Creek along California’s Hwy 1 coast line. He had sold the couple on taking pictures as the coast as it makes for an incredible back drop for engagement photos. Both the couple and the Adrian are from the Sonoma County area and know that weather can be unpredictable especially along the coast. When Adrian packed up his gear and got ready for the shoot the weather in Santa Rosa was clear and warm. In fact it was in the 90’s. As he neared the coast the temperature had dropped to 67 and he noticed the heavy fog which obscured the ocean and blocked the natural light need to take excellent photographs. Once together we discussed the options and turned away from the coast thinking we had been skunked, but then a new ideal came up that we should at least go check out the prospective location anyhow. We had a nice bottle of wine and decided that a little fog would not stop us from enjoying in that. Moments after we arrived and were enjoying our first glass of wine, the sky parted, the fog lifted ,and the most beautiful light emerged. Below were the shots captured on this golden day. Wine and the parting sky’s saved the day and made for some magical pictures to be enjoyed for years to come. Congratulations to my dear friend Rahi and his lovely fiancé Stephanie. I can’t wait to shoot your wedding and capture more great memories like these.
