3 Things To Consider When Selecting Your Wedding Photographer In Napa

Weddings are pretty huge ordeals. There’s a lot to think about, much more to plan, and still more to book before time runs out. And while you’re on that train of thought, be sure you give some consideration to your wedding photographer in Napa.

If you are in or around the Sonoma County area, or if you’re planning to have your wedding in or around Napa Valley—you’re in luck. You’ve just found yourself a wedding photographer in me, and I’d only be all too thrilled to capture your wedding’s most spectacular moments.

If you’re still a bit unsure on the decision, I’ll help you along. The decision doesn’t have to be a difficult one. In fact, here’s a 3-point checklist of things you should consider when selecting your wedding photographer.

1. The Equipment

Your wedding photographer must have the right equipment. There’s a lot to know about photographer and the specs of cameras and such, but you should feel comfortable asking your photographer what he or she will be shooting with.

I personally will assure you that I’m using the equipment I’ve spent both time and money on. Time, because perfecting a skill and learning to use every aspect of new technology is the only way to become great at what you do. And for me, that includes snapping great pictures of you at your wedding.

2. The Skill

One thing I pride myself on is having the patience to know when a scene is ready to be captured. A trigger-finger is a dangerous thing for a photographer, so I wait patiently and anticipate the moments that will really shine and come alive when you see them later.

You want an experienced photographer that will know where in the ceremony to be, and when to be there, to get the right memories on film. After all, your wedding photos are a time capsule, and the moments you may not have seen will be available to you later. That’s the beauty of wedding photography.

3. The Aesthetic

You spend a lot of time planning your wedding, right down to the dinner forks and after-dinner coffee mugs. Which means, you’ll want to be able to remember how much work you put in and the way all your planning and stress came together so seamlessly.

I make it a point to capture the most vivid details. You want someone who will include it all—from your first dance as husband and wife, all the way down to the desert table.

So when you’re happy with the idea of a quality wedding photographer in the Sonoma/Napa area, contact me, Adrian Tamblin, and we’ll get started planning your wedding photos from detail A to detail Z.
